MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s grain exports may reach 50 million tonnes in 2018 due to improved harvest data, Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachyov told reporters on Thursday.
“Probably, the figure will reach 50 million tonnes,” he said.
Previously, the ministry projected grain exports at 45–47 million tonnes this year.
Earlier on Thursday, the Federal State Statistics Service raised its estimate of the 2017 harvest to 135.393 million tonnes from 134.1 million tonnes.
